This is a paper craft for kids to make for St. Patrick's Day.

Luck o’ the Irish Mobile
  • White paper plate
  • Crayons, markers or paint
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Hole punch
  • Thin string or yarn

  1. Fold, and then cut the paper plate in half.
  2. With crayons, markers or paint, draw a rainbow on the paper plate (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple).
  3. Punch five holes in the plate: one at the top and four evenly spaced out along the bottom.
  4. Using construction paper, draw and cut out two shamrocks and two pots of gold.
  5. Punch a hole at the top of each of the items you just cut out.
  6. Attach the cutouts to the rainbow paper plate using thin string or yarn (use the four bottom holes).
  7. Loop a piece of thin string or yarn through the hole at the top of the plate to hang your Luck o’ the Irish Mobile up.
