Instructions
1. Wax serrated knife with candle stub or paraffin. Cut foam ball in half; reserve one half for future project.
2. Cut pattern from striped fabric; be sure stripes are vertical when positioning pattern. Fold narrow hem in one side edge; press and glue to secure. Wrap fabric around foam cone, allowing 1/2" of excess fabric at top (flat side) of cone. Glue hemmed edge over top of raw fabric edge.
3. Sew gathering stitch around fabric at top of cone. Pull thread ends to gather fabric around foam so it lays flat against surface. Tuck under and glue raw edges at tip of cone.

4. Use compass to lightly draw 7" circle on wrong side of floral fabric; cut out. Sew gathering stitch around circle edge; do not clip thread. Place small amount fiberfill in center of wrong side of circle. Place foam half-ball, rounded side down, on fiberfill. Pull thread ends to gather fabric around foam; adjust as needed for even appearance. Knot and clip thread. Glue ball to top of cone and crystal bead to tip.
5. Cut one 9-1/2" length from 3/4"-wide lace. Using photo as guide, glue lace around top of cone where it meets ball. Glue six pearl beads, evenly spaced, around top of cone as shown.
6. Cut one 21" length from 1"-wide lace. Sew gathering stitch along one edge of lace; pull gathers tight and knot thread ends.
7. Insert corsage pin through remaining pearl bead and button. Push pin down through top of gathered lace and into top of ice cream cone. Apply dab of hot glue beneath button to secure.
8. Cut one 12" length from ribbon. Glue ribbon ends to opposite sides of cone for hanger. Cut remaining ribbon in half. Tie two bows; glue one bow to each side of cone over hanger ends.
